Second Annual Bernie Brillstein Golf Classic

Celebrities, Hollywood Industry Elite, and Business Leaders will Raise Funds for Construction of New Barlow Respiratory Hospital Building.
Celebrities, Hollywood industry elites, and diverse business leaders will participate in the Second Annual Bernie Brillstein Golf Classic, presented by Merrill Lynch and many more renowned businesses, October 25, 2010 at the renowned Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles, California.
Barlow Respiratory Hospital\'s annual golf classic is named in honor of legendary producer and talent manager, Bernie Brillstein, a former Barlow patient. Building on the record breaking success of last year, the Barlow Foundation will continue to explore innovative approaches to golf tournaments and expand the audience and increase the revenue generated from this event to create additional prominence, and continually update and increase the pool of supporters, sponsors and participants.
One such innovation, The Bernie Brillstein Legacy Award, will honor a select group of entertainment industry professionals who exhibit the extraordinary passion, leadership and vision that were Bernie Brillstein\'s trademark, and the unwavering generosity that symbolized Bernie\'s heartfelt humanitarianism. The inaugural honoree will be Holly Jacobs, Executive Vice President of U.S. Reality and Syndicated Programming at Sony Pictures Television.
Last year, the sold out event grossed over $266,900 through sponsorships, auctions, raffle, golf fees, and related activities, and the 2010 event is likely to sell out again.
This year\'s celebrity supporters will include Courteney Cox-Arquette, Rob Lowe, Bill Maher, Dennis Miller, Ed O\'Niell, , and many more.
The shotgun start, scramble format tournament will include a wonderful barbeque lunch, high end clothing and exclusive accessories for every player, amazing contests and fabulous hole-in-one prizes including a chance for $1,000,0000, and fabulous vacation getaways.
After a great day of golf, everyone will enjoy a hosted cocktail reception thanks to Dr. David Nelson. Guests who purchase reception only tickets will join the party which will feature an exclusive selection of cocktails, and a silent auction replete with amazing merchandise. The evening will conclude with a dinner banquet. Each attendee will receive a custom gift bag stuffed with complementary amenities. Following a brief dinner program, the hot team winners, including the best scores are announced and trophies distributed. The first Bernie Brillstein Legacy Award will be conferred and a comedy showcase will close out the night on a very entertaining high note.
