3. Can visitors bring flowers?
Before you bring flowers, contact the Hospital and ask to speak with a patient care representative at the nursing station where the patient is staying. If the patient is in the ICU, flowers may not be allowed in order to protect the patients or other nearby patients from allergies and other reactions. For other gift options, you may like to visit Barlow's Guild House Gift Shop, which is open during select weekend hours.

6. How do I refer a patient?
To refer a patient, contact Barlow at 213-250-4200 and ask for the Admissions Department at ext 3324 or ext 3358. If you are a physician, our Referring a Physician page describes the process. To contact a particular physician on staff at Barlow, visit the Physician Search page.
7. Who do I speak with about a family member's status?
Call Barlow at 213-250-4200 and, depending on the nature of your questions, ask to speak with the patient care coordinator or clinical director in charge of the patient's care. If you know the room number the patient is staying in, you can request to be trasferred to the nursing station of their particular unit.
8. What if I have questions regarding my bill?
Call Barlow at 213-250-4200 and ask to be transferred to the Director of Finance at ext 3301. You may also find answers to your billing questions within the Frequently Asked Questions for Patients.
